How did the book, Pure Soapbox, come about?

Kimberlie originally developed and launched a weekly email August 28, 2000, named The Monday Soapbox Edition, as a tool to reinforce lifestyle changes in her clientele of business execs and renowned leaders. Employing quotes from yesteryear and contemporary examples ripped from today’s headlines, Dykeman paired words of the world’s most accomplished thinkers, leaders and personalities with her own personal meditations. With an authentically hopeful, yet realistic viewpoint, Dykeman “soapboxed” a vivid picture of an attainable life beyond society’s bigger-better-faster demands….delivered with a dash of New York-sarcastic flair and a swift kick in the pants. The simple email soon flourished into a nationally distributed subscription blast, earning Dykeman recognition as an up-and-coming Who’s Who and unending proposals to transform her emails into a book. Indeed, Spring of 2008 launched Kimberlie’s first book,  Pure Soapbox … a cleansing jolt of perspective, motivation and humor.
